Wollmond
Organic Wool & Silk Wrap Bodysuit
Wickelbody aus Bio-Wolle & Seide
A soft wrap bodysuit for ages 2–6 months, knitted from a 70% organic virgin wool and 30% mulberry silk blend. Temperature-regulating and gentle on delicate skin, undyed and left in its natural white.
Why this is important for your baby
A newborn's skin is up to 30% thinner than an adult's and absorbs far more of what touches it. Organic wool and silk are breathable and temperature-regulating, and — unlike conventional textiles — are grown and finished without the pesticides, synthetic dyes or formaldehyde treatments that can irritate delicate skin. This garment is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Product Class I, the strictest class, made specifically for babies under three.

Why do natural fibres matter?
Wool naturally regulates temperature — warming when it's cool, releasing heat when it's warm — and absorbs up to a third of its weight in moisture while still feeling dry. Silk adds a smooth, hypoallergenic layer against sensitive skin. Together they're breathable, odour-resistant and need washing far less often than synthetics.

Safe for delicate skin
Why is this important?
Babies put everything — including their clothes — in their mouths, and their skin absorbs substances more readily than adults'. Freedom from azo dyes, formaldehyde, phthalates and flame retardants means there is nothing on this garment that could leach out or irritate. OEKO-TEX® Product Class I tests for hundreds of harmful substances at the levels considered safe for babies.

How to care for it
Wool/silk wash at 30°C, or hand wash with wool detergent
Do not tumble dry — dry flat, gently shaped
Iron at low heat (up to 110°C) if needed
Do not bleach · do not dry clean
Wool is naturally odour-resistant and self-cleaning — airing is often enough. Wash only when necessary to protect the fibres.
When it's time to say goodbye
Wool and silk are both biodegradable, and wool is home-compostable. Remove the metal press-studs before textile recycling or composting. Return via the Wollmond take-back programme or a textile collection point — please don't put it in household waste.
